Typical Chiropractic Treatment Plan for Frozen Shoulder

New Africa/Bigstock.com

As a chiropractor our primary focus is detecting, analyzing and correcting vertebral subluxations. Addressing the root cause, we look to restore the function in the areas where the patient has the complaints.

If the subluxation is affecting the nerves going to the shoulder, then by correcting the subluxation we are able to get better nerve supply to the shoulder.

After correcting the subluxations of the spine, we are able to look at the function and mobility of the shoulder joint itself. If it needs adjusting at that point, we can make specific adjustments into the shoulder.

If the patient still needs additional treatment such as stretching and strengthening muscles surrounding the shoulder, we can recommend those exercises and even teach them in the office. That way they are able to complete the exercises at home on their own time.
