The digital posture assessment tool is another black-and-white clinical tool, just like the x-ray.
We take a photo of the individual standing from the front and from the side. Then we use a program that measures the person’s posture in relation to ideal posture. This produces a printout that clearly identifies healthy areas and problem areas. It shows tilts, lateral translations and shifts of the head, shoulders, and pelvis in both the front view and the side view.
The digital posture assessment tool gives us a clear starting point so we can build and follow up on posture exams to measure progress.
Digital posture analysis is also used to understand what techniques are working for the individual and what we need to change. This way we can be as efficient as possible with correcting their subluxation pattern.
